This session will discuss grass roots and research efforts in reproductive rights and justice that are validating the negative impact structural and systematic barriers has had on women--spiritually, physically, economically, and emotionally, and how these barriers negatively impact women in their homes and communities. This session will also discuss local, state, regional and international efforts in improving the lives of women.
Session Objectives: 1. Identify the link between reproductive rights/justice and self-esteem.
2. Identify strategies and tools to effect policy change.
