The purpose of this session to focus on social determinants of health domains and how they are linked to health outcomes. The information from this session will allow audiences to learn about multiple disciplinary perspectives that discuss best practices, health equity, health promotion and disease prevention strategies and sustainability of interventions that address social determinants of health.
Session Objectives: Identify contextual factors that may contribute to health inequities.
Explain new developments that will influence public health framing in the future.
Describe the importance and impact of social determinants of health.
