This presentation will present a critical reflection on the 14th World Congress on Public Health, and suggest possible strategies to maximize the advocacy and policy impact of the World Federation of Public Health Associations.

Identify factors facilitating and constraining the ability of the Federation to influence healthy public policy and implementation processes. Describe possible strategies for influencing global public health policy and practice in order to achieve improved health outcomes, a reduction in health inequities and improved health systems performance.
