This session focuses on current innovations and challenges in family violence prevention practice. Presentations will discuss risk factors for adolescent sexual assault, with an emphasis on prevention, as well as programs and policies related to sexual assault prevention on college campus. This session addresses strengths and challenges to sexual assault prevention and intervention for adolescents and young adults.
Session Objectives: Describe risk factors for adolescent sexual assault; Explain programs and policies related to preventing sexual assault on college campuses; Evaluate the relation between adverse child events and adult family violence
