Roundtable
This roundtable focuses on innovative uses of health communication to promote public health. Those attending this session will have the opportunity to interact with a diversity of public health professionals and researchers and learn about the innovative approaches they have used to understand and impact the health of their target populations.
Session Objectives: Describe how interactive technologies can be used for health education interventions. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of new health communication technologies. Describe how healthcare provider recommendations can impact health behavior. Discuss implications for public communication efforts to influence and advocate for health policy.
