Use of Technology in Public Health Practice

This session will feature presentations on the increasing role played by technology in the health care field with a special emphasis on public health practice. The advantage of the use of social media and other new technology tools will be highlighted and their positive contribution to breaking down geographical barriers and increasing access to those populations who were denied access in the past.
