Session Objectives: Identify home-based, evidence-based psychosocial interventions for persons with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers. Identify opportunities for improving the quality of life (QoL) of program participants by incorporating QoL considerations into decision-making across housing and long term care sectors and policy areas at the state level. Assess the relation between state home and community based services (HCBS) investment and state long-term services and supports expenditures for 2000-2011. Describe methods of measuring and comparing the impact of home and community based services (HCBS) programs on nursing home admissions.
