Session Objectives: Describe the results of the National Eye Health Education Program’s comprehensive, multichannel outreach intended for older adults, caregivers, and the media. Describe the association between impairment of visual acuity and domain specific cognitive function in the elderly. Describe the role mild visual impairment plays in self-care behaviors among older adults. Assess the association between state-level Older Americans Act expenditures and diabetes-related outcomes among adults aged 65 years and older.
