Chronic diseases such as disbetes and cancer are a major burden on the nation's health care system. Patients who suffer from these conditions often seek peer support, increasingly on social media. This poster session will help participants survey the possibilities and results from some of these interactions.
Session Objectives: Describe HIT applications that encourage bi-directional patient engagement, especially regarding peer support on social media platforms
