Roundtable
Big Data. "The" buzzword in science and technology - now increasingly ubiquitous in health care parlance. Unfortunately big data does no one any good if clinicians, policymakers, and researchers cannot integrate EHR into their processes. This session will explore how these obstacles impact local health departments and provider networks, and how partnerships such as the ones formed between industry and academia can help chart a course toward more efficient data analyses.
Session Objectives: Describe how Big Data analytics are impeded by various barriers to EHR integration
