In November, 2010, the Kane County Health Department transferred WIC and other MCH personal health services to FQHCs, reduced its staff by 50% and re-organized based on PHAB standards. 18 months post 'total make-over', Kane County's financial, population health and staff engagement indicators are reviewed and all show positive impact from the change.

In this role I have developed and implemented policies to reduce the size of the public health department and its budget while not compromising its ability to deliver the essential services of public health.
