As universal health care is debated in both public health and political arenas, women know that an adequate health plan to meet women's needs must include more than access to the system we now have. This session will discuss some of the issues of women and universal health care, including why we need to demand comprehensive benefits, the need to ensure reproductive health care, the health discrepancies for women of color and the role of women, in the past and the future, in organizing for appropriate health care | ||||
