Assessing Consumer Experiences with Hospital Care: The HCAHPS Project
Learning Objectives: This panel will be comprised of four papers on the HCAHPS survey of hospital patients perspectives of their care. Participants in this session will understand how the survey was developed, what was learned during its "dry run", the role that physicians may play as conduits of HCAHPS information, and how HCAHPS scores will be publicly reported.
