Roundtable
We look forward to a rich learning experience during this roundtable, as presenters share their experiences in the implementation and evaluation of health informatics and information technology systems. The main goal of the roundtable is to learn from the successes and challenges facing clinicians and public health practitioners around the world, in order to ultimately improve health outcomes across all populations.
To quote the 18th century German intellectual Goethe – “knowing is not enough, we must apply”.
Session Objectives: 1. Recognize the effects of real time data access on clinical behavior.
2. Understand the potential of standardized classifications to support data sharing and program evaluation in public health.
3. Identify key activities for implementing a PDA-based rural health information management system.
