This session showcases student research findings and provides a forum for student researchers to engage in discussion in a personal level with other conference attendees. Numerous maternal and child health topics are presented, including substance abuse, labor support, suicidal behavior, physical inactivity, and improving maternal mortality
Session Objectives: Objective 1: list two potential evidence-based interventions for maternal and child populations
Objective 2: compare methodological issues in studies of maternal and child health issues
Objective 3: describe relationships of personal, family and environmental correlates and maternal and child health outcomes
