4278.0 Environmental Public Health Tracking

This session will focus on the Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) Network. The session will consist of four panelists presenting EPHT from the perspectives federal, state, local, and academic stakeholders. Each presentation will run between between 20 – 22 minutes with a question and answer period at the end of the session.
Session Objectives: Describe the information gap that the National EPHT Network will be designed to fill and necessary steps for implementing EPHT networks at the state and national level. Learn about specific focus areas for environmental and health outcomes population surveillance. Review lessons learned from state and local pilot projects linking health and environmental data and present the value of Metadata in such a system. Demonstrate the national Tracking portal and a state portal.
