Effective occupational health and safety interventions are crucial to reduce the risk of death, injury, illness and diesase to workers. Presentations in this session will revel that designing and implementing effective intervenions requires not only a knowledge of the hazards, but also a deep knowledge of the workplace and work organization. Involving workers in the design and implementation of these interventions is often key.
Session Objectives: Describe a range of interventions which can be effective in reducing occupational health and safety hazardous. Compare different interventions from various work settings and sectors
