Cultural and familial factors are explored in relationship to health behaviors and access to care. Factors influencing decisions to seek screening including the usefulness of technology with clients of diverse backgrounds is analyzed. Disparities related to health behavior are described in order to foster culturally sensitive practice.
Session Objectives: 1. The audience will be able to identify culturally diverse health related behaviors. 2. The audience will be able to compare health related behaviors among cultures. 3. Identify culturally related barriers and disparities in care
