This session describes challenges in diagnosis and treatment of children’s mental health needs and strategies to improve children’s mental health service use.
Session Objectives: Describe disparities in mental health service use among children and youth. Describe strategies to improve timely assessment and use of mental health services for children. Discuss progress toward integration of primary and mental health care for children.
