The focus of this session is on ethical issues for public health nursing education, practice or research. The session will include presentations on: the implications military funding for public health nursing; bioethical situations that occur in rural public health settings; and ethical issues in biobehavioral research when studying vulnerable populations.
Session Objectives: 1. Evaluate the the ethical implications of military funding for public health nursing. 2. Identify two bioethical situations that occur in rural public health settings. 3. Discuss ethical issues when dealing with vulnerable populations.
