Interactive session to discuss the development, implementation and maintenance of statewide initiatives to improve health literacy, including conducting needs assessment, engaging stakeholders and developing resources.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe suggested steps to successfully develop and maintain a state health literacy coalition. 2. Compare strategies of three state health literacy coalitions in different stages of development. 3. Identify ways to initiate or engage in literacy coalitions in home states.
