In this poster session, studies addressing women’s health across the lifecourse will be presented. Panelists will describe factors influencing women’s access to breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening and treatment. Gender role idealogy and the lifecourse perspective will be examined to inform interventions to improve women’s health. Innovations to safety net health systems to improve access to care and women’s health outcomes will be described.
Session Objectives: Describe innovations to safety net health organizations and the impact on access to care for underserved women; Compare breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening modules for women; and Identify theoretical perspectives on women’s health across the lifecourse.
