This session will explore how health communication and social marketing principles can be applied to the development of health and mass media campaigns in statewide and regional settings.
Session Objectives: 1. Describe how social marketing and mass media can influence campaign development.
2. Identify new social marketing approaches and their influence on health campaign development.
3. Analyze the effectiveness of new social media and mass media campaigns in changing health attitudes, intentions, and behaviors.
