Theories and conceptual frameworks are encouraged in the research and development of health promotion and health education initiatives. Further discussion is needed to better understand the application of these theories and framework to health conditions that affect the individual through their lifespan. This session includes analysis and applications of theories and frameworks used to assess and explain multiple and complex issues that has an impact on individuals’ health through their life course.
Session Objectives: Discuss health education and health promotion theories and frameworks that help to understand health conditions that affect the individual through their lifespan.
