This session is designed to help enhance visibility of public health issues by leveraging social media tools within a communications campaign. The panel will share best practices on how to use new media to engage and educate key audiences about a range of public health concerns and opportunities. Learn more about how to use tools such as blogging, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr, Twitter, mobile texting and more to reach a whole new audience and foster effective two-way communication.
Session Objectives: Explain how to use social media tools. Describe best practices on how to engage key health bloggers (or become one!) and build a dialogue with a wide audience through new media tools.
