Biographical Sketch: Beth Beam, MSN, RN has been the project coordinator for an emergency preparedness grant at the UNMC College of Nursing since 2005. The grant develops web-based media and emphasizes hands-on learning for emergency preparedness training of healthcare professionals and students. Stephen Smith, BSc, instructional technologist, maintains the website, develops interactive multi-media modules, produces video, and provides technology support for the grant.
