Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: Dr. Karen Peifer is the Senior Director of Children’s Health, First Things First. She is the project officer for $25 M preventive health programs for children under five. She has worked in program development, research and evaluation for 25 years. Previously, she conducted community based participatory research with community clinics in Colorado. She holds a MPH and doctoral degree in public health from the UC, Berkeley and has participated on state and national committees.
