Accountability in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) will require engaging with communities in extraordinary ways.  Strategic communication with communities can empower them to fully embrace the opportunities offered by ACA.  IOM will present approaches to achieving accountability as required by ACA.

Analyze the critical role of connections to the community, using the Native American youth workshop as an example. Explain the importance of crafting real messages to the community to activate community empowerment.
