The Black Women’s Health Study reveals 20 years of evidence of health and social disparities prevalent in Black women.  These disparities emanate from and result in inequities that ripple throughout the economy and society.  Conversely, equity in Black women’s health would have a substantial impact on society.  This paradox will be explored and discussed.
