Mr. Christopher Rogers will present a unique perspective for measurably decreasing health disparities using wearables derived from the Juxtopia® Imhotep Open-Wear Platform. Mr. Rogers will present information about the West Baltimore, Maryland Health Enterprise Zone (HEZ); Health disparities that adversely impact the 86,000 HEZ population across four zip codes; and how low-cost wearable telehealth devices, created by Juxtopia® Imhotep Open-Wear, may track HEZ population health and interpret, in real-time, data that provides early evidence of population risk factors of health disparities.   Furthermore, Mr. Rogers will discuss state and federal policies that motivate the use of wearables to prevent health disparities.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I have been a health policy professional working on multiple projects focusing on reducing health disparities, increasing access to quality care, and improving health outcomes of diverse and underserved populations. My focus is on critical policy topics including Medicare, Medicaid, health information technology, community health workers, mental health, prescription drug policy, hospital readmissions, quality, and access to care.
