Multiple factors influence health in Brownsville. We work to address health from multiple directions activating multiple partners to collaboratively find sustainable solutions for a population that is impoverished and vulnerable.

Qualified on the content I am responsible for because: I am a practicing Obstetrician Gynecologist at a Federally Qualified Health Clinic who is also a native of Brownsville. I have been an Adjuvant faculty member of the UT Houston School of Public Health for the last 7 years and have been one of the primary developers of the Brownsville Farmers' Market and BBL Challenge.
