The purpose and relevance of this poster session is to include prevention intervention strategies for victims of violence and their perpetrators. This session will also include sharing research on the negative impact domestic violence has had on women (including sub-groups within the female population)—spiritually, physically, economically, emotionally, and its short reach into destroying the fabric of the home and community.
Session Objectives: 1. Identify causes of gender-based violence.
2. Identify strategies to prevention intervention approaches in mitigating or reducing gender-based violence.
