Session Objectives: Describe children and youth experiences of food insecurity. Assess factors put children and youth at risk of food insecurity. Identify the mechanisms through which food insecurity has detrimental effects on children and youth. Evaluate the possible positive and negative consequences of actions intended to alleviate food insecurity of children and youth.
