This session will expand the attendees knowledge about STIs as it relates to: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Counseling, Policy and Counseling. The session will also provide an overview of prevention models, policy implications (HPV)and collaborative efforts to address the STI issue in the United States.
Session Objectives: After attending the session, participants will be able to: 1. Explain how STIs increase risk for other issues 2. Assess the relationship between empowerment, counseling and STIs 3. Discuss the benefits of empowerment in prevention of STIs
