The role nutrition plays in child health and development across the lifespan is well established. This poster session will present the results of a number of studies that look at the interpersonal and structural systems surrounding children and their ability to access, acquire and consume healthy, affordable food.
Session Objectives: Describe at least one way in which schools influence child nutrition. Name at least one barrier to implementing child nutrition practices in households.
