This session addresses one of the most important ways of improving public health: through behavior change, utilizing health communication and the media. Leaders in the field from the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs, US Centers for Disease Control and the Elliott School of Communication will discuss the advances made through health communication, locally and globally.
Session Objectives: To present the important role of media and health communication in prevention and public health, in the US and global context.
