152.0 Advocacy Training for LeadersSunday, October 30, 2011: 8:00 AM
Business Meeting
This training will feature interactive panels including APHA staff-led presentations about the advocacy tools and resources available to APHA members; APHA and Affiliate leaders will share their advocacy success stories; advocacy experts will speak about best practices and strategy; and legislative staff will provide tips for policy-maker communication and advocacy. Trained leaders will be able to return to their Sections and Affiliates with the resolve and ability to inspire and train others to be effective public health advocates.
