This session describes activities and findings on numerous maternal and child health topics, including individual, community, and system effects on maternal and child health outcomes, unmet need, timeliness of services and access to care, and genetic testing.
Session Objectives: Compare postpartum weight retention patterns among mothers with and without CSHCN
Describe relationship between unmet needs for child health services and functional status among US children with developmental conditions
Identify the association between physician scope of practice and transition to adult care services for youth with special health care needs
Examine timeliness of services and perceived barriers to care for CSHCN
Identify common motor skills that autistic children have trouble performing
Explain current protections from seasonal influenza for CSHCN
Compare utilization of current genetic testing with whole genome sequencing
Describe hearing loss in CSHCN
